

Photos from Gapsa Temple in Gyeryongsan Mountain that I visited in June last year

This pagoda is said to have been built in the early Goryeo period.

The pedestal carving is quite elaborate.
It looks like a lion sticking its tongue out. So cute.

Gapsa [Dangganjiju]
It is said that the [Dangganjiju] made during the Unified Silla period is the only one that still remains today.
