Early last year, I broke up with a long-time friend and went to Gangneung for the first time in years to sort out my feelings..
Then, I stayed at a guesthouse and met some good people, and because of those memories, I ended up going to Gangneung at least once a month.
The photos below are from my most recent visit.
There are places I always stop by when I go to Gangneung, and among them, [Sungut Beach] and [Sagunjin Beach] are the best. They are connected and located above Gyeongpo and Anmok, so there aren't many people, so if you want to see the ocean alone, they are the perfect places.
The pine forest above is the pine forest around the Heo Gyun-Heo Nanseolhyeon Memorial Hall.
