It's been a while since I've had Seolleongtang. I like the basic side dishes.

I learned this in an essay during middle school Korean language class. The origin of seolleongtang is that during the Joseon Dynasty, after a ritual was held at Seonnongdan to pray for a good harvest, the king gave the farmers a broth made by boiling cow bones, which is called [seolleongtang].
