LAFC officially announced today the signing of Son Heung-min from Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League. Son Heung-min will be available for play immediately upon receipt of his P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

One of the most talented and popular Asian players of all time, Son Heung-min enjoyed a legendary 10-year career with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. He scored 173 goals and provided 101 assists across all competitions, and became the first Asian player to win the Premier League's top scorer title in the 2021/22 season.

Son Heung-min, captain of the South Korean national team, has played in three World Cups and has over 130 international caps, making him one of the all-time leading scorers for his country.

Son Heung-min said, "I'm incredibly proud to join LAFC, an ambitious club in one of the most iconic sports cities in the world. LA is a city rich in championship tradition, and I've come to write a new chapter in that history. I'm looking forward to this new challenge in MLS.
