I visited the restaurant of Chef "Lee Chan-yang (Rebellious Genius)" who appeared on [Culinary Class Wars Season 2] with my two daughters.
- Lunch: 98,000 won
- Pasta upgrade: 30,000 won
- Main dish changed to Korean beef: 35,000 won
The bird's nest and bones looked even more bizarre in real life.
Just like his nickname, he even displayed the plate at a slant lol
I ordered a bottle of champagne (30,000 won)
[A cold appetizer]
The broth of this dish contained [shiso].
And at the bottom of this dish, there was sashimi (Bang-eo).
On top of this dish, there were sliced apples.
This dish was refreshing, nutty, and stimulating to the appetite.
I thought it was delicious from the very first bite.
[Mini napa cabbage dish]
At the bottom of this dish, there were clams (Sanghap). (* Sauce: Sabayon)
The vegetables retained a crisp texture, and it was delicious when eaten together with the sauce and clams.
[Shrimp Cavatelli Pasta]
This dish was inspired by Tom Yum Kung.
So it has a mix of exotic aromas.
The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and above all, the pasta had a chewy texture.
I really loved it.
[Upgraded Pasta Dish] (I paid extra to change to this dish)
Thin pasta noodles were topped with [Uni].
This dish didn't feel particularly special, but it was savory and delicious.
[Fish Dish]
Gently cooked fish (Daegu) + [Beurre Blanc sauce]
The sauce was slightly acidic, but it was a well-balanced dish.
Basic main dish: [Iberico]Pork
The sauce was sweet.
At the bottom of this dish, mushrooms were hidden.
This dish looks very tender on top, but the hidden underneath was cooked to a crispy finish.
It was even more delicious than Korean beef.
[Upgraded Dish] (I paid extra to change to this dish)
: Korean beef + [Port wine sauce]
[Cognac Ice Cream]
At the bottom of this ice cream, there were [crumbles] and pear.
The top was covered with whipped cream (and sprinkled with some kind of powder).
If you scoop from top to bottom, you can enjoy a variety of textures.
It was very delicious.
Last dish (dessert): Tea + Financier
Somewhere, the chef mentioned that his restaurant aims for a concept between fine-dining and casual dining, and that was exactly the feeling!
Charming and cozy,
Reasonably priced, so it's not a burden for young people,
A delicious restaurant perfect for couples on a date.
Reservations aren't easy, but I recommend going at least once.
(Just note, while the price is affordable, the course is a bit short and the portions are small.)
