In episode 3 of JTBC's weekend drama '[The Tale of Lady Ok]' (written by Park Ji-sook, directed by Jin Hyeok and Choi Bo-yoon, produced by SLL and Corpus Korea) to be aired today (the 8th), a man with a face that looks exactly like Jeon Gi-su Cheon Seung-hwi (played by Chu Young-woo) appears in front of the fake Ok Tae-young (played by Lim Ji-yeon).
The fake Ok Tae-young added to the affection of many people when he met Song Seo-in, a nobleman with whom he had a relationship during his slave days, again as Cheon Seung-hui, a celestial story teller. Although living with a different name and status than himself, Cheon Seung-hui still missed the runaway slave Gu Deok-i and eventually suggested that they run away together to fulfill his long-held dream.
However, the fake Ok Tae-young decided that he could not live the new life he had gained thanks to the real Ok Tae-young (played by Son Na-eun) as Gu-deok and turned down his offer to live as the real Ok Tae-young. In response, Cheon Seung-hwi respected her wishes by saying, "Now you're being yourself" instead of holding on to the fake Ok Tae-young and went his separate ways once again.
This sad farewell to Seung-hwi Cheon is also temporary. In the third episode, Tae-young Ok will meet Yoon-gyeom Seong, a government official who has the same face as Seung-hwi Cheon. The released photos show Tae-young Ok and Yoon-gyeom Seong facing each other in the same space. However, Yoon-gyeom Seong’s gaze looking at Tae-young Ok has a sharpness and heavy charisma that we have not seen from Seung-hwi Cheon, creating a completely different atmosphere.
As curiosity grows over the story of these two people who are about to begin anew, anticipation is rising for the performance of actor Choo Young-woo (as Cheon Seung-hwi and Sung Yoon-gyeom), who will portray them. Previously, he showed off his graceful appearance as a celestial story teller as well as his appearance as a passionate lover, so attention is focused on what kind of charm he will display as Sung Yoon-gyeom, who has a personality that is the complete opposite of Cheon Seung-hwi.
The JTBC weekend drama '[The Tale of Lady Ok]', in which the relationship between two men with the same face, Chu Young-woo and Lim Ji-yeon, becomes more intertwined, will air its third episode tonight (the 8th) at 10:30 PM.
