My wife took the kids to Eulwangni Beach and caught a few small clams and crabs the size of fingernails.
If it were just an insect that you can commonly find around the house, I would have released it anywhere, but since the address is a tidal flat, the kids ended up unintentionally going on a picnic to the beach two days in a row.
While we were at the beach, we were playing around for a bit when my daughter suddenly muttered, "I want to eat hotel shaved ice."
So the place I went to was Horizon Lounge, a cafe at the Inspire Hotel near Eulwang-ri.
It's a resort complex built with a huge amount of money targeting Chinese tourists, so there's a lot to see.
The sparkly decorations you see when you sit down.
But when I actually tried to order, it was September and the shaved ice was out of season so I couldn't order it.
I had no choice but to order two small cakes and a drink.
Cherry Mousse.
The base is a chocolate disc filled with pistachios, covered with cherry filling mousse, and decorated with cherries.
Horizon Lounge's signature menu, Blueberry Yogurt Mousse.
It's a yogurt mousse with blueberry filling inside, and I wonder how they made it.
For drinks, we ordered the signature Purple Inspire Ade, Red Sunset, and the seasonal special Chestnut Cream Latte.
Objectively speaking, it is delicious enough and well-made.
I was particularly impressed by the way the grapefruit was secured with rose stems.
It was nice that they gave me a service cookie, but I really liked that they gave me a free refill of my Americano after I had my latte.
