Jeju Dosa is Dibung. I'll post pictures of the delicious things I've tried.
1. Horse Sashimi
It's called Maudon, and you can enjoy horse sashimi, horse meat, grilled horse meat, horse gomtang, horse rib stew, and horse bone extract as a course with unlimited refills. In the past, it was 25,000 per person, which was good value for money, but now it has gone up a bit. Highly recommended if you go to Seongsan. The taste is really good and the owner has great service.
2. Special parts of pork
When I come to Jeju Island, I eat a lot of black pork, but there is really no difference. This is a place called Bjolsaljip. Looking at the price, it doesn't seem to be black pork, and it's 60,000 won for 4 people. But the meat is very tender and delicious, and the spicy sauce is especially good and not too greasy. In addition, they continued to provide tteokbokki, soybean paste, sausage, and hamburger steak as a service (I think it was included as standard. They gave me everything every time I went), so it was really the best. It tastes better than the expensive black pork restaurant because it is a special cut, but the price is reasonable and it fills my stomach, so I definitely eat the pork here. The downside is the 1-hour wait... But I went to the place in Hyeopjae around 4 o'clock and there was no wait to eat haha.
3. Wood-fired pizza
There are many wood-fired pizza restaurants on Jeju Island, and this one is called Labosco, located on the road to Gwaneumsa Temple in Jeju City. It's a visually violent place, but the pepperoni pizza is salty and delicious. Number 1, I personally disliked the cheese pizza.
4. Bracken bracken stew
A lot of people eat it these days, but this is Woojin Haejangguk House. Compared to other places, it's definitely delicious, but if you're going to wait an hour to eat, just go somewhere else nearby. And personally, I think the body soup here is better than the fern soup.
5. Rockfish set meal
This is a place that sells only formal food, and the prices are not cheap. But it's delicious. When I bought this for my friends who live on the mainland, they loved it haha. I ate something unexpected on Jeju Island and it was so delicious. It tastes like delicious tteokbokki soup. Besides that, the ssam and other side dishes are delicious, so it's worth going at least once.
6. Pheasant Shabu Shabu
Usually, when I go there, they start with pheasant sashimi and then shabu, but it was better than I expected. But pheasant itself is definitely tougher than chicken. Even though the meat is that thin, it’s tough haha. The raw fish was so delicious that I recommend it. The price is not bad compared to Jeju prices.
7. Horned conch sashimi
In my opinion, it would be much better to order a plate of this than to eat abalone raw fish. It's delicious when you dip it in oil and eat it. It's usually 20,000 per plate, so the price isn't bad.
8. Abalone field
I think it was 17,000 for 3 pieces and a set meal. The abalone fried rice actually tastes better. However, I recommend mixing rice with the abalone crab sauce provided as it tastes really good.
9. Seafood soup
It’s a place called Yeonbuk-ro Seafood Stew. In fact, I thought it was a reasonable price because it was well-constructed, but there seem to be some people who think it is not. It was delicious. In fact, Jeju Island is near the sea, but even though I looked for seafood stew like this, it was difficult to find it.
10. Mackerel sashimi
This is a small raw fish restaurant called Onpyeong Badahan Bowl. The price is definitely more expensive than what you get at the market. But I think it was the freshest of all the places I've eaten. Usually, it's old and fishy, slightly tough, or smells like an old refrigerator, but this one doesn't have that smell at all and it's plump. It's at a level where you can just eat raw flatfish. Other than here, I heard that Miyoung's on the other side is the most famous, but I couldn't go there because the line was too long haha.
Enjoy the food in just 2 hours!
