The Korean beef short ribs were blanched once,
marinated overnight,
steamed once in a pressure cooker,
then immersed thoroughly with radish, carrots, mushrooms, and onion,
and finished with green onions.

Soaked glass noodles (Dangmyeon) were simmered in soy sauce seasoning,
then mixed with the pre-stir-fried japchae ingredients,
and finished with sesame oil and sesame seeds.
I think I cooked for about half a day.
But thinking about eating together made me happy.
I wish there were more family members to share the meal with.
Since it's still just the two of us, it feels a little bittersweet.
We ate well yesterday and today.
