I don't live in New York, but I live 5 hours away by bus. My family lives in Long Island, and I met them on the way to the pre-recording, and the bus was so jammed in traffic that I looked outside and saw very familiar people (managers, security guards) smoking outside. When I got off the bus and passed by again, they were gone, and when the Empire State video came on, the members seemed to have gone there when I saw them,
I went to BCD Sundubu in K-Town with my family for lunch and dinner. When I went in, Finebell came out, and Yes or No came out, so I looked around to see what was going on, and my family told me to come to my senses because the members were gone. I think the ice cream shop that Sakura went to yesterday is right next to Bukchang-dong.
I took the train to UBS Arena, and I thought I went too early, but there were already a lot of people. But it's first-come-first-served, so the early ones get in first. Another Mirna Malone said that 1iota received 400 people and later received about 50 more. It seemed like there were a lot of people and the gender ratio seemed diverse and balanced. It was hard to find a Korean Pierna.. The waiting time sitting in the tent was a bit long, but there was a portable toilet and plenty of water in front. The 1iota staff picked a few people to dance (crazy, ant---agile, easy, fearless, smart).
After that, we walked slowly to the distant concert hall around 6:50. Just walking took a long time, but checking in our belongings, putting our phones in cases, and waiting in line took the longest. Everyone was inside, mumbling and enjoying themselves while listening to crazy and 1-800 for sound check.
Overall, the schedule seemed to have been delayed (the show was supposed to be 2 o'clock, but people came out around 6 o'clock...) But when we went inside the tent, the stage was really close and there was no waiting, so everyone was satisfied. The concert hall was not inside the stadium, but a large tent was set up next to the stadium! I drew a picture of the stage layout and uploaded it. Before the members ran around like crazy inside, I played a K-pop playlist and they all had fun watching it.
When the members appeared, they all screamed like crazy. I didn't know the concept of pre-recording very well, so I put a lot of effort into the first cut and screamed so hard that the floor shook. Kazuha's ponytail... I was really touched, but the one who really stood out on stage was Chaewon! Chaewon was next to me, and she looked at us before the show started and made eye contact while dancing. Chaewon really took control of the stage and enjoyed it comfortably. I can't express it in words. And Yunjin's leadership stood out!! The filming crew mostly communicated with Yunjin, and Yunjin and the kids put their heads together and discussed, which was great. I don't know because I didn't go to the Korean pre-recording, but the members didn't have time to talk to each other separately. But Sakura sent me a heart!!!
After filming 3~4 episodes of Crazy, the members went to change their clothes. However, there was a lot of time between songs. That's because they had to change their clothes and decorate the stage. Crazy was on the rhombus stage from the beginning to the end, but 1-800 started at the front of the stage and went up to the middle stage, so you can't see the front part And 1-800 was going to set off firecrackers, but I told the audience in advance. Before the 1-800 stage, there was an emergency because my knees were bent, so the filming crew told everyone to bend their knees and straighten them, and they also handed out water.
The front part of 1-800 wasn't visible at all, but the audience cheered as loud as they could for the parts they didn't know, and I don't know if you heard it on TV... I might not I have heard it because I was cheering alone, but after the kids left, I personally shouted, “Le Seraphim is the best.” The 1-800 filming team was pressed for time, so they were going to end it in one cut, but Yoonjin and the members made a finger gesture saying "Just once", so we did two cuts! And the members left, and the schedule was over. Although it was announced in advance that VMA regulations were strict and lightsticks and large bags were not allowed, some people brought signs or banners, and Mexican flags and lightsticks, which they returned in advance but later received back.
Lastly, here's the Empire State Building. I have to catch the bus again at dawn to go to class tomorrow morning, but LE SSERAFIM's schedule looks much busier than mine. Are they really taking 8 days off??!!
Anyway, LE SSERAFIM is really loved in the US and they do really well on stage. I'm really proud of them!!!!
