[JISOO] "I was curious because it seemed like a zombie drama of a type I've never seen before would be born. The character of Yeong-ju was also very attractive," he said. "I wanted to play a character who makes choices and grows. Director Yoon Sung-hyun, [ Park Jeongmin ] so I chose it without hesitation," he said.

[JISOO] "Even though it's a mix of zombies and romantic comedy, there are scenes that have to be serious. However, there are also unique humor codes there, so it was a very fun and humorous scene to the point where it was hard to find the middle ground," he said, emphasizing, "I think viewers will also have fun finding that point."
[JISOO] "I hope we can have good results that can make the other members (of BLACKPINK) proud," she said. In this work, [Park Jung-min], a huge fan of Blackpink, plays alongside Jisoo. The two met on the set of the drama “Doctors.” Although they worked together in Thousand Exorcist Lab: Secrets of the Snow Scene, this was their first time acting together seriously. [Park Jung-min] said, “I can’t even imagine acting together while talking in real life,” and “I couldn’t even talk when I attended ‘Cheonuisa.’” Jisoo was on an overseas tour while filming ‘Doctors’. Even though it was a thousand, I was honored to hear that Park Jung-min was participating, so I took the time to go there.
Park Jung-min expressed his admiration, saying, “At that time, the production company asked me what I thought of Jisoo in the role [of the fairy] that I played. Then we met on set, and the entire staff met as well. I saw the scene where Jisoo appeared and it surprised me a lot."

Director Yoon Sung-hyun said, "I usually don't laugh much when I watch YouTube, but I burst out laughing when I saw the videos of (Jisoo) that fans edited and uploaded." He continued, "While working with Jisoo, I thought, 'There's no actor who can express Young-joo better than her.'" He continued, "When I read the script, I felt that Young-joo was so charming. The role itself doesn't start out special, but as the story unfolds, it goes to a point that I couldn't even imagine. There has to be humor and wit at the core. When I thought about who could express that, [Jisoo] naturally came to mind."
Director Yoon said, "[JISOO's] stamina surpasses Lee Je-hoon's," drawing attention. Director Yoon said, "Filming 'Newtopia' itself is full of action and various elements, from martial arts to blood. It's visually tiring. People covered in blood are running around. But when I asked [JISOO] if it was hard, he said it wasn't hard."
