BLACKPINK's Jennie sets a new milestone in K-pop history with her first full-length album Ruby.

On the 3rd (local time), US music magazine Rolling Stone announced its “The 100 Best Albums of 2025” on its official website, and Jennie's first solo full album Ruby was ranked No. 29 — the highest ranking among K-pop artists.

Rolling Stone Praise the album, saying, “Ruby leans heavily on ideas that dominated R&B-infused pop in the 2000s and 2010s, sometimes modernizing them in intriguing ways. Jennie shows a remarkable ability to command the center of sweet pop R&B.”

In addition, Jennie was named No. 1 in Forbes Korea 's “Korean Idols of the Year 2025,” proving her strong global influence.

She was the only Korean artist to participate in Spotify's “Spotify Wrapped 2025” campaign, and Ruby was the only K-pop solo album to be included in Spotify's “Best Pop Albums of 2025.”

The title track “like JENNIE” ranked No. 43 among the “Most Streamed Songs of 2025” worldwide, making it the highest-ranking song by a female K-pop artist released this year.

With “like JENNIE,” Jennie also placed No. 62 on Apple Music's year-end “Top 100: Global” chart, becoming the first K-pop solo artist to ever enter the chart.

Jennie's first solo full-length album Ruby contains a total of 15 tracks, including the title song “like JENNIE.” Jennie personally took part in producing the album, capturing her identity and limitless musical potential. Through diverse genres and concepts, she continues to break records and write new history as a solo artist.
