Girl group New Jeans' Hyein shared her thoughts on returning to broadcasting.
On KBS2's 'Music Bank', which aired on the 12th, an interview was conducted prior to the first unveiling of the full 5-member stage of New Genes' 'Supernatural'.
On this day, Hyein bowed her head and said, "I am so excited to be able to perform on 'Music Bank' with the members. More than anything, I am really grateful for the warm welcome I received from 'Music Bank'." He then smiled and said, “I’ve been watching all of New Jeans’ activities so far.”
Hyein was unable to participate in the official promotions of her double single 'How Sweet' and her Japanese debut single 'Supernatural' due to a foot injury last April. At that time, Hyein took a break and focused on treatment, and recently completed two months of treatment and joined the team.
Minji said before the stage, "'Supernatural' is our Japanese debut song. Today, we prepared a special Korean version." Hani then said, "For this choreography, you just need to take care of your physical strength," and showed a little bit of the choreography before the main performance.
As this was the first music broadcast that Hyein joined, it attracted even more attention. On this day, New Jeans performed their Japanese debut single title song 'Supernatural' and the b-side song 'Right Now'.
Meanwhile, New Jeans has been focusing on Tokyo Dome fan meetings and Japanese terrestrial music programs since the release of 'Supernatural' on the 21st of last month. These are Fuji TV's 'Mezamashi TV' and 'Mezamashi 8', TV Asahi's 'Music Station', Nippon TV's 'with MUSIC', and TBS's 'CDTV Live! Live!', NHK's 'Venue 101', Fuji TV's 'FNS Song Festival', and Nippon TV's 'THE MUSIC DAY 2024', performing new songs on stage, leaving a mark on local fans.
