G-Dragon, who appeared nervous as he took the stage to accept the award, greeted him, saying, "The youngest recipient of the award, singer G-Dragon."
He continued, "It's been almost a year since I made a comeback after a long hiatus. If I remember correctly, I started my entertainment career around the age of six. Since then, I've always had the same dream. As a teenager, I dreamed of becoming a singer, and I achieved that dream. In my 20s, I received an award. In my 30s, I even received the Jade Crown Order of Cultural Merit. I'm really looking forward to my 40s."
G-Dragon expressed his gratitude, saying, "When I was young, I admired being a singer. I still do. I'm so proud of myself as a singer, and I love what I do. Next year, [BIGBANG] will celebrate its 20th anniversary. I want to share this honor with [BIGBANG]. And thank you so much, fans."
He then laughed, saying, "I'm on a world tour, and it's truly amazing. Every day, something dreamlike happens. I usually say, 'Good night, sweet dreams,' before bed, without a second thought, and I think that holds incredible power. If you have sweet dreams every day, they can come true."
Finally, he added, “I hope you all have sweet dreams.”
