The exam is over.
I'm not completely free yet, but I feel relieved. I want to go somewhere.
My girlfriend also told me to come down.
It's been a while since I took a train in Seoul.
I often took pictures while crossing the Hangang Bridge, but I was never satisfied with the pictures of the 63 Building I took then, but this time, the pictures turned out great.
I rode the Gwangju subway for the first time.
The Gwangju subway was pretty good compared to subways outside the metropolitan area.
The Gwangju subway had reasonable intervals and the running time wasn't that long.
The Gwangju subway felt like a mini version of the Seoul subway.
I arrived a little late and all the shops in the subway station were closed.
The next day, I had some time to myself, so I wandered around Geumnam-ro.
After buying something unexpectedly cool at a camera store I happened to come across, I went into a building to escape the heat.
I just went in because the lobby looked spacious, but it felt like a famous place.
When I looked into it, I found out that it was the 'Jeonil Building', which played an important role during the May 18 Gwangju Democratization Movement.
The Jeonil Building is an important place that preserves evidence of helicopter shooting during the Gwangju Democratization Movement.
Looking at the numerous bullet marks inside and outside the building, I was able to understand the collective trauma of the citizens of Gwangju a little.
(There's a lot more I want to say about this, but I won't write it here.)
I was walking around here and there and was surprised by the price and almost fell over.
I can't believe it's 3,000 won jajangmyeon
I went out to the market in front of my house to buy some side dishes and met a cat.
The cat was watching for a loach while the store owner was sleeping in the store.
The cat stared at the loach for a long time and caught one. It wasn't something he had done once or twice.
The market people seemed to be quite familiar with the cat.
I went to the Dongmyeong-dong cafe street
There were many places that looked good, but it was hard to find a place where the coffee looked delicious.
So I just went to a place that was introduced as an 'espresso bar'.
The coffee there didn't taste special, but it was drinkable.
I liked the atmosphere of the window seat.
The inside of the cafe was very dark and calm, but the window side was bright and warm because the sun came in.
The veranda there was extended, so the space was connected, and the atmosphere changed completely based on the border of the veranda, which was refreshing.
It was raining outside again, which made the atmosphere even better.
In the train
Everyone was tired, only my youngest daughter was absorbed in a YouTube video and was completely engrossed in it.
It was interesting that the little girl remained motionless for an hour and 45 minutes.
This trip to Gwangju was to rest and organize my thoughts, so there aren't many pictures.
Actually, I brought a lot of film with me to take a lot of pictures, but it was so hot that it was hard to take out the camera.
I'm at my parents' house now, so I'll try to take some pictures here.
