I remember in the past, without even thinking about it, I went to see the best modern architecture in Korea selected by the architecture magazine SPACE as if it were a bucket list item. I think I've seen almost everything in Seoul...
Some people may not agree with the worst/best classification, but I think that, with a few exceptions, the best deserves to be in there.
Seung Hyosang’s Welcome City
I like that brown wall with a rusty texture.
Kim Swoo-geun's Gyeongdong Church
I think it was a really crazy idea to build it in the shape of praying hands.
Insa-dong Ssamjit-gil
I thought I designed it so that the feeling of happiness could be revealed in a cozy way without being outdated.
Samsung Electronics Seocho Headquarters
It's just a large company building, but it feels symbolic haha.
The space headquarters building (also known as the Arario Museum), which was previously posted
Architecture that truly expresses the combination of diversity within a group
There is so much to see in Seoul, be it traditional or modern.
