An open baseball stadium along the Han River Constructed as a dome stadium while changing the existing baseball stadium site.
A convention center and high-rise hotel will be developed on the site of the current Jamsil Student Gymnasium.
Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium is moved to the Han Riverside, which was the site of the existing baseball stadium.
Jamsil Main Stadium is currently undergoing remodeling and is scheduled for completion in December 2026.
Jamsil Dome Stadium is a closed dome stadium with a capacity of 30,000 seats. A hotel was built at the baseball stadium with skyboxes and VIP table seats, and rooms with a baseball view were also built.
(Retractable type is not a problem of construction cost, but of operating cost)
On the banks of the Han River, a new Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium and a convention building will be placed, and part of Olympic Boulevard will be covered with a deck to develop a waterfront space.
This is the part that will be developed by Hanwha Consortium private developers.
The redevelopment of Tancheon and the remodeling of Jamsil Main Stadium are being carried out by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and construction of Jamsil Main Stadium already began last month.
It is said that both involve public donations from Hyundai Motor GBC and no disputes are involved.
The Tancheon area will be renovated and a new Tancheon pedestrian bridge will be built to connect the Jamsil Stadium development site and Samseong-dong GBC - Yeongdong-daero Complex Transfer Center - COEX.
The overall plan has been finalized and a detailed basic design plan will be prepared by the first half of next year and construction will begin in the second half of the year.
