Part 1 - Anyangcheon Stream
For the holidays
A fool with nothing to do
Exploring the neighborhood
Yesterday, I went to Yangcheon-gu, the southwestern region.
Today, let’s walk through Seodaemun-gu and Jongno-gu, located slightly in the northwest.
Segeomjeong~Yujin Shopping Center (2.2km)
It's a sunny day
The gloomy-looking pavilion under the shade of the tree on the left is Segeomjeong.
The scenery is nice on a clear day, but today... a river flows under Yeongjeong Pavilion.
Upstream of Hongjecheon Stream.
This is the entrance to Sangmyung University.
There is no atmosphere like a college town at all.
Apparently, students go out to Gyeongbokgung Station or Hongik University Station to play.
There is no commercial district here.
There are a couple of small bars suitable for club dinners.

If you go a little further down, you will come across a cultural asset called Hongjimun.
From here, you can see a lot of residents exercising as it is a full-fledged walking trail.
I heard that excavators and trucks are going back and forth as if they are planning to develop this area as well.
The container on the right seems to be a worker's office?
The mountain on the right is Bukhansan Mountain (Tangchundaeseong Fortress).
This neighborhood has mountains and rivers, so it's great for a walk.
After passing Hongjimun, you can see that the inner ring road overpass is built over the river.
This is a characteristic landscape that extends from here to Yeonnam-dong. It is a memorable impression for those who have been there.
I don't think the people who live here will like it very much. A major obstacle to mining
From the driver's perspective, the huge overpass creates a roof.
It's nice to be able to walk without the rain.
The biggest attraction in the upper part of Hongjecheon is Okcheonam Rock on the left.
It seems like a good place to pray and there are always believers.
The temple itself is small.
There is a huge artifact that cuts the field of vision horizontally.
There are various frames like this.
This village is formed at the foot of Bukhansan Mountain, so it has a fairly steep slope.
I tried to go up... but since it was such a dense residential area, I could see people snooping around.
Pay attention to the prefabricated building on the left.
34 Community Autonomy Office... It's amazing that a space like this still exists.
When you look at a thin electric pole, you can see a siren of its own...
A cement staircase + a masonry Western-style house that has become cloudy due to erosion.
Even if you look at it, it seems like 30 years have passed since its completion...
Most of the buildings in this neighborhood look like this.
Stairs... How do we live here in winter?
There were a lot of old people.
I heard that if you look at the recycling bin, it is at the level of the neighborhood.
This area looks exactly like this. Every time I go, there are ten windows like this.
I don't know why. It seems like some international students are living here because of Sangmyung University.
I don't think it's because of the Chinese, but they have no concept as a group.
It smells bad every time I pass by;;
The area where the crane stands in the center became famous after Baek Jong-won visited there.
It's a neighborhood next to Pobangteo Market. I wonder if the scenic district has worked out well here.
These days, apartments are constantly popping up.
For reference, Mayor Pobangteo once worked hard to support the district office.
We upgraded the facilities and held various (useless) sculptures and events.
As expected, it is now in ruins due to lack of population inflow.
I saw a banner saying demolition or redevelopment.

The recently built Doosan We've.
Every time I pass by, I think it would be great to live here.
Is it 30m from the river to the apartment entrance? Really close.
So much so that I was worried whether there would be any safety issues.
Anyway, if these branded apartments are built rather than old buildings,
It seems like the neighborhood atmosphere is definitely improving.
But what is that white tape mark on the upper right corner of the apartment?
It's brand new, just built. Are there any defects?
The chapter of the trail ends starting from Eugene Shopping Center.
Recently, a tunnel was dug under Eugene Shopping Center to create a road that runs straight from Hongeun Intersection to Yeonhui-dong, which is nice.
But the air down there was so stuffy that it was difficult to get in.
Eugene Shopping Center is such a famous building that there is nothing else to say about it.
