'The Blue House' opened to the public in 2022.
However, I had never visited here before.
Then, when I heard that I would not be able to go there for a while after August of this year, I made a reservation in a hurry and went.
Departure by train
It took about 20 minutes to get here from Seoul Station.
I thought the waiting line was short.
The waiting line here also seemed short.
But then the 'security guard' told me to line up at the back.
So I looked back and there was a really long waiting line behind me.
The old man in the front row said he had been waiting in line since 6 am.
Looking at the map, it looked like the waiting line was about 180 meters long.
The weather was hot and the waiting line was so long that I thought about just going home.
But they said I could enter through the back door, so I went there.
Fortunately, there weren't many people on this side.
I scanned the QR code and entered, and I came across 'Nokjiwon'.
However, I only planned to visit the 'Main Building' and 'Yeongbin Hall', so I didn't go there.
A wide lawn and the 'main building' behind it are visible.
[Main Building]
Fortunately, I was able to enter without waiting in line.
But there were a lot of people inside.
The first floor was so crowded that I left there quickly.
When I came out here, the weather outside was very hot.
And there was still a long line here.
(The waiting line was all the way to the main entrance)
Yeongbin Hall:
I couldn't go here because it was closed that day.
Some photos I think I took well:
