As I was going through the posts, I found the posts about landmarks interesting.
So I picked it
Gyeongbokgung
Changdeokgung Palace
Namsan Tower
Bukchon
Lotte Tower
63 Building
DDP
Myeong-dong
Myeongdong Cathedral
Han River & Park
Gangnam Station
World Cup Stadium
See this far
Hey, what kind of landmark is this?
Compared to foreign landmarks, it's nothing special, it's boring.
It's just a collection of obvious tourist attractions.
Do you ever feel that way?
But foreigners come to Korea to see these things and nothing else.
Because, those are all things that don’t exist overseas.
These are things you can only see and experience when you come to Korea.
It's familiar and trivial to us, but it's strange to foreigners,,
So, it is worth pointing out to foreigners that they are landmarks of Korea.
When it comes to landmarks, the story behind them is more important than just the object itself.
Each and every one of them is intertwined with the history of Korea and the blood, sweat, and tears that Koreans have shed.
These are things of value
Still, I'd like to have a new, cooler landmark.
I can hope
Even if you build something new, it needs to establish itself as a landmark.
It will probably take time and accumulation of stories.
