First, there are currently two North-South green belt axes planned by Seoul City.
Recognize light blue and navy blue respectively.
I will explain in numerical order.
bright blue
1. Blue House
The Blue House, which was opened under the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, boasts a very large green space.
2. Gyeongbokgung Palace
Gyeongbokgung Palace also boasts a very rich green space behind Geunjeongjeon.
The main gate of the Blue House is connected to each other through Sinmumun, the north gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace.
3. Songhyeon-dong Park
Songhyeon Park acquired by Seoul City from Hanjin Group.
It is located right next to Gyeongbokgung Palace.
A green space with an area similar to Gwanghwamun Square
A memorial hall for Lee Kun-hee will be built in the future.
4. From Uijeong to the park
A public park built right next to Songhyeon Park.
Currently building a park...
5. Gwanghwamun Square
Like a remote island in the city
Past the time when only the central part of Sejong-daero was a plaza.
Expand to secure green space on the left
Ultimately, the right side of Sejong-daero was also planned to be greened.
Due to traffic, this will be done in stages.
6. Creation of pine forest at Seoul City Hall Square
Currently in progress, at Seoul City Hall Plaza
Plant more trees and build more benches
Our goal is to create a pine forest.
7. Sejong-daero Human Forest Trail
Currently, stage 1 has been completed.
More street trees have been planted than before.
The city of Seoul plans to reduce the width of the road on Sejong-daero from City Hall to Sungnyemun Gate and plant twice as many street trees as the current street trees in that space.
Ultimately, it will be linked to the pine forest at City Hall Square.
8. Sungnyemun Gate
When you pass through the human forest road on Sejong-daero, you will reach Sungnyemun Gate.
9. Baekbeom Square (Start of Namsanseonggwakgil)
If you come up the road next to Sungnyemun Gate, you will reach Baekbeom Square and the fortress road continues above it.
10. And arrived at Namsan Tower
From now on, the dark blue route

3. Jongmyo Shrine
The way the king walked from Changgyeonggung Palace to Jongmyo Shrine
To cut off Japanese colonial rule
A road was deliberately built between Changgyeonggung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine.
A few years ago, the road was covered with a tunnel.
The road connecting Changgyeonggung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine was restored.
Currently restored
