This was the main destination and starting point of my short trip to Gangwon-do. It's where the ending scene of "Decision to Leave," which I personally consider director Park Chan-wook's best film, was filmed. In the ending scene, where Seorae commits suicide and Haejun cries out, I thought, "Wow, that's so cool!" and it's a place I've always wanted to visit. At the time, I wasn't interested in photography as a hobby, but after I took it up, I suddenly remembered it and went. I wanted to go when there weren't many people there, and while there were a few solo travelers that day, it was perfectly fine for taking pictures.
