- I visited Gyeongju two weeks ago.
They say this place has become incredibly lively before and after the [APEC] summit.
Arrived in Gyeongju!
First course: Hwangnyongsa / Bunhwangsa
- A vast open field that you can't find in the city.
- They say this pagoda was recreated at one-tenth of its original size. It's truly amazing.
- Gyeongju National Museum
- A special exhibition of gold crowns was in progress.
– The roof tile featured on the cover of Korea's national history textbook
- Daereungwon. The autumn foliage was beautiful.
- The [Cheomseongdae] laser show held at night was also fun.
- [Woljeonggyo]
This place was really cool. If you haven't been there, I recommend it.
- [Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, Gyeongju]
I went there with no expectations, but I was surprised by the stunning night view.
(This is, in my mind, the number one night view in Korea.)
- The buildings and trees reflected on the water were so breathtakingly beautiful.
-The fall foliage here was stunning.
I also visited [Seokguram], but photography was prohibited there.
- The maple leaves in front of the cafe. They were so beautiful.
- I got a really good seat at the cafe.
- After dropping my family off at the hotel, I visited [Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond] again because I couldn't forget them.
- It was really beautiful even when I looked at it again.
- I was so envious of the people living in Gyeongju.
- I arrived at the hotel late at night, slept soundly, and returned to Seoul the next day.
The breathtaking beauty of [Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond] still lingers in my mind.
I highly recommend a trip to Gyeongju.
