Four Great Gates-31 Building (1970)
It is the first building in Korea with a triple-digit height (110m) and the starting point of skyscrapers in Korea. And it was the first building in Korea to use the curtain wall system, which was common at the time and could only be seen overseas. When it was completed, there were not many buildings in the city center, so it stood alone. Nowadays, there are many buildings that look like that, but it is very modern for a building built in 1970. Of course, it was remodeled)

Yeouido-63 Building (1985)
If the building that symbolizes the 70's is the 31 Building, it is a building that symbolizes Korea's skyscrapers beyond the 80's even to this day. The height is 249m, which is twice that of the 31 Building, and at the time of completion, it was the tallest building in the world outside of North America, and this record was set in Korea. The building is unique, and the characteristic of this building is that when viewed from the side, it has a slight curve like the letter ㅅ and is covered in gold. What's really cool about this building is that if the side were rectangular like a milk carton, it would have looked more like a strange building than cool, but they even added curves to make it a perfect design. Foreigners say that when they come to visit Seoul, they are surprised to see the 63 Building even though they don't know other buildings. It is a building that literally symbolizes the Miracle on the Han River. Nowadays, there are more buildings taller than the 63 Building, but it is still evaluated as a symbol of Korean skyscrapers (in my opinion) But honestly, 63 Building is a world away from Lotte Tower)

Gangnam-Trade Tower (1988)
I wonder if this is a building built in 1988?
It has a perfect design and is so designed that it can be said to be a recently built building. For reference, when I was young, there was a restaurant above and I had a view from there, but it's a shame that that restaurant has long since disappeared...
