It was my first time visiting a mudflat since the one I did with my parents when I was young, and it was a colorful experience in many ways. For a long time, I only liked deep waters with rough waves, but for the time being, I think I will often visit the West Sea, with its gentle and dazzling waters like this.
I felt I needed some time to physically get acquainted with my second camera, the used Fuji, so I put down my phone and my first Sony. I took only the T3 and rolled around barefoot in the mud for about an hour, and it feels like a layer of my mental wall has crumbled. I also tried applying a black-and-white simulation for the first time, and it was effective in capturing the muted yet high-density texture of the mudflat.
