When the weather is hot and you are tired,
Eating octopus somehow gives you energy.
However, the amount of stir-fried octopus delivered is small.
So I tried making Nakji-bokkeum at home.
The ingredients are onion, cabbage, green onion, green chili pepper, and minced garlic.
Remove the eyes, intestines, and mouth of the octopus,
rub it with flour, wash it,
and blanch it in boiling water with soju for about 10 seconds.
I had some leftover chives, so I added shrimp to make pancakes.
I thought I should add bean sprouts to the Nakji-bokkeum, so I blanched the bean sprouts.
Put oil in a pan and fry the minced garlic and the prepared seasoning sauce.
Add cabbage and onion and stir-fry.
Stir-fry the boiled octopus, green onion, and green chili pepper.
When the stir-fry color is well developed, turn off the heat and
sprinkle sesame oil to complete the Nakji-bokkeum.
Serve generously on a large plate
and top with boiled noodles and sesame seeds
I also brought crispy fried chive pancakes.
It didn't look that good, but it tasted good.
Cucumber and chive salad prepared in advance
Bean sprout side dish
After eating some octopus, mix it with some noodles and eat it.
Stir-fry rice with the remaining seasoning.
It's delicious when you sprinkle some seaweed powder on it and eat it.
I had a delicious meal today too.
