Hi! Today I brought you the last dish, Meat Pie!
This recipe is based on the videos below!
Introducing the materials!
1kg beef, 1 large onion, 6 cloves of garlic, beef stock, 2 cans of stout
Tomato paste, flour, Worcestershire sauce (or soy sauce)
Not pictured, but you also need a pie sheet and an egg!
(I didn't use any spices)
First, season the beef with salt.
And I'm going to cook the beef in a pot little by little
I cooked it in 4 batches of 250g each
If you put too much in at once, it won't cook,
but the moisture will come out and it will just cook.
You have to cook it in batches!
Chop the onion and garlic
Put it in the same pan you used
to stir-fry the meat in and stir-fry it!!
When the onion becomes transparent,
add 5 tablespoons of flour.
Add 700mL of stout and a spoonful of Worcestershire sauce.
Add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
Then add the grilled beef
Close the lid and simmer on low heat for 2 hours!
2 hours later
Then, continue stirring and boil over high heat for about 20 minutes.
I roughly cut the pie sheet, put it in the mold,
and brushed the inside with egg white
Filling the pie
Cover the pie with a lid, press the end with a fork,
brush with egg wash and poke holes.
I ran out of pie sheets so I have a lot of pie filling left over lol
I'll put it in the fridge and bake it again!
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes
The beef flavor is really, really strong!!
It feels like a meat pie
It's really really delicious
and it's even more delicious when you sprinkle ketchup on it!
The rich flavor of beef is felt as it is
It is a galbijjim taste that is not sweet
and has an explosion of savory flavor
So it definitely feels like a meal, not a snack
After baking a lot, you can freeze it and then reheat it to eat!
Thanks for reading!!
Next time NEWJEANS introduces a new food,
I'll try making it again!!
No one used this!!
