[Dacquoise], which is sometimes introduced to guests as “a cousin of [macarons],” is actually a pastry that my wife makes to use up leftover [macaron] cream.
In my shop, it is made with a combination of my wife's delicious creams and [dacquoise] with a generous amount of almond powder.
The maple pecan flavored [dacquoise] is especially delicious.
