Today, as the title suggests, I made a course meal just for myself.
I'm the only guest.






I'm into champagne and Burgundy wine these days.
Since the budget is tight, I prepared a completely entry-level model.
The first dish was strawberry shrimp tartare with strawberry caspaccio.





The second course was truffle butter, bread and carrot soup.
Carrot soup was so delicious when I made it in Korea a while ago.
I made it again. It was still delicious today.




The third dish is truffle pasta with salmon roe.
I wanted to use caviar, but it was over budget, so I used salmon roe.
Even though it was canned truffle, the flavor was stronger than I expected and I liked it.
The salmon roe helped balance the flavor.




Is it evenly cooked?
The fourth dish is sirloin steak
I set the core temperature to 52 degrees and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
Roughly medium rare. Sirloin is expensive, but the texture is irreplaceable.
I was happy that the potato puree was the consistency I wanted.
But I was a little annoyed because it didn't come out pretty even though I poured wine sauce on it.

Tomatoes are easier to peel if you cut them in a cross shape and torch them.
Tartar is
Sweet shrimp, strawberries, tomatoes, lemon zest, olive oil, mustard, salt



For the gazpacho, I mixed 2 strawberries and 1 tomato with olive oil, lemon juice, and salt. It was a little too sweet, so I added some maple syrup.
Everyone knows that strawberry sweet and sour taste, right? It's like a high-end version of that, lol.

Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese Tuille
This is a real kick from the first dish
It has a crispy texture and is savory, salty, and crazy.



Wow, the emulsified truffle butter sauce is so good.
The noodles are made from a thin pasta called Capellini, and are from a brand called Mancini.
It extracts starch well




If you tie the meat and grill it, it becomes round and pretty.

I also make sauce with the wine I drink lol
It's a bit of a shame, but I can't even drink half of the three bottles of wine by myself.
